ABOUT

Participants of the Medical, Healthcare, & Biotech track of the Jewish Federation of New Orleans’ 2022 Mission to Israel can expect to visit some of the most impressive research and healthcare delivery centers on the planet.  On day two of the mission, the track will spend time at the Center for Digital Innovation at Sheba Medical Center, which was ranked by Newsweek as one of the world’s top ten hospitals, three years in a row.

The following day guests can look forward to experiencing a tour of Start-Up Nation Central, where cutting-edge digital health solutions are incubated and scaled.  Areas of focus within this institution include Digital Health, Agri-Foodtech, and Industry 4.0 sectors (automation and data exchange).

On day four, in Jerusalem, participants will tour the Hadassah Accelerator, located in BIOHOUSE at the heart of the Hadassah Medical Center.  It is here that startups interact with clinicians, patients, and real-world data generated at Hadassah Medical Center.
On day six, the track will travel to Rehovot’s Science Park and visit the Israel Innovation Authority’s Innovation Lab Program, where a multitude of innovative technologies are focusing efforts on providing individually personalized solutions and treatments for humanity.
